Elegant Fall Wedding at Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado | Erin and Zach

I’m SO lucky to have had the chance to document so many incredible weddings and elopements throughout 2024. From start to finish it was a year of wonderful celebrations that I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of. Today’s blog is one such wedding, and it was actually my final wedding of the 2024 season! Erin and Zach put together one of the most elegant, beautiful, and intentional wedding days at the Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado, and I’m SO excited to share it with you here on the blog!!

Getting Ready for Their Wedding at the Tapestry House

You wouldn’t know from the photos, but I actually had to dig my car out of a foot of snow in Denver in order to get to the Tapestry House for Erin and Zach’s wedding! It just goes to show you that you never know what to expect from the fall in Colorado, something I talk about more in this article about the best season for your wedding here! That being said, once I arrived at the Tapestry House everything began falling into place for Erin and Zach to enjoy a beautiful and personal wedding day together.

The day began with both Erin and Zach getting ready in the comfort and beauty of the Tapestry House, surrounded by their loved ones. If you know me then you know I’m a sucker for a wedding venue with on-site getting ready spaces, and when they’re as lovely as the Tapestry House’s it’s easy to see why! There’s no better way to start a wedding day, and after some emotional first looks between Erin and her family and wedding party, it was time for the ceremony to begin!!

A Ceremony and Portraits with the Fall Colors

I’ve known Erin ever since college, and even did CrossFit for a bit with her and her mother, which made today all the more special to be a part of! The beautiful tree lined garden of the Tapestry House was the perfect fit for her and Zach’s outdoor wedding ceremony. Even with the cooler temperatures, everyone in attendance was more than happy to bundle up a bit and experience this amazing moment between two of their favorite people! After sharing their emotional vows to one another, Erin and Zach then shared their first kiss as a married couple!!

The newlyweds took some time to head inside and sign their marriage license, after which we had set aside some time for family, wedding party, and couples portraits! Even though it was early November, the trees that surround the Tapestry House still had some vibrant fall colors for us to enjoy. Between these and the stunning architecture of the Tapestry House itself, there was no shortage of wonderful backdrops for their portraits!!

Their Wedding Reception at the Tapestry House

The remainder of Erin and Zach’s wedding day festivities would take place in the Tapestry House’s indoor banquet hall. The wonderful space has the perfect mix of vintage details and modern touches that make it a dream for hosting a fun filled reception like theirs! Their night was filled with so much joy and memorable moments, one of my favorites being when Erin’s mother Tina surprised her with the appearance of the Beer Steer she ordered in secret! Moments like this are part of why I adore what I do, and there were still plenty more we all got to enjoy throughout the night!!

A HUGE congratulations to Erin and Zach for putting together such an amazing wedding day at the Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado! The Tapestry House is part of Wedgewood Weddings, who also have another favorite venue of mine under their umbrella, Mountain View Ranch. Check out this space to see another picturesque example of a Colorado wedding venue, and if you’d like to book me to document your day be sure to inquire through my contact page ASAP!!
