Romantic Wedding at Everett Ranch Weddings | Caroline and Rob
There are so many things I could say about Caroline and Rob's wedding day at Everett Ranch Weddings. I will do my best to fit all of the details into one blog but if you want more looks at their day be sure to check out my Instagram! Between the absolutely insane sunset we had, the epic mountain views and the beautiful and sustainable details, there was just so much to love about this day.
An Outdoor Wedding at Everett Ranch Weddings
Everett Ranch Weddings is one of those wedding venues that frames you within the Colorado mountains with such grace. between the breathtaking ceremony space and the rolling hills that are perfect for portraits, there is just so much to love about this wedding venue. This venue is for you if you want nature to truly be the backdrop of your wedding day.
We started off their wedding day with a first touch and private vow reading where Caroline could see Rob, but Rob had to wait until they walked down the aisle to see Caroline. They took their time reading their vows and exchanging some small gifts to commemorate this beautiful summer day. After they were finished, exchanging gifts, they hid away from guests and began getting ready for their wedding ceremony!
Colorado Wedding with Mountain Views
One thing I love about Colorado wedding venues, is that we have no shortage of beautiful nature backdrops. Everett Ranch weddings is no exception to that. Everywhere you look when you arrive at Everett Ranch has a beautiful mountain backdrop in the distance and gorgeous wildlife at your fingertips.
Caroline and Rob started off their wedding day getting ready inside the venue. Caroline got ready with her bridesmaids and Rob put on his finishing touches solo. After getting ready they spent most of their wedding day outside amongst nature. The nature backdrops were by far their favorite part of this venue and the weather on their wedding day was perfect for spending the full day outside.
The sky was showing off the rest of their day with two sets of gorgeous portraits, one set after the ceremony and the rest during sunset. I will never get over how beautiful the sky looked for their wedding portraits.
Intentional Wedding Day Timeline
More and more of my couples are choosing to step outside of the box and do what they want on their wedding day. Caroline and Rob are no exception to that. I am obsessed with their thrifted china, and their beautiful florals. I am also obsessed with all of the time these two were able to spent together throughout their wedding day.
We were able to slow down, take our time and really enjoy each others company. Some of my favorite slower moments include: a ladybug landing on Caroline's hand during portraits to say hello. Laughter from their friends and family ALLLLL day long. Then last but not least, the emotions they shared during their first touch and private vows before their ceremony. These two were a dream to work with and their wedding will forever hold a space in my heart.
Robs Review
If you're looking for a sign to book Katie as your photographer: DO IT. It's the best decision you'll make, bar none. Katie is quite honestly the best wedding photographer I have ever met. She is WILDLY easy to work with, she's a master of the craft, and she truly goes above and beyond for her couples. From planning, to our engagement photos, to our wedding, she was in lock-step 100% of the way. Katie is the rare type of vendor you'll work with and say to yourself "I think we're best friends now"...
