Summer Wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch | Jordan and Kevin
Nothing beats a perfect Colorado day to have the most PERFECT wedding day. When everything falls into place just wonderfully - the colors, sunshine, details, and the most amazing couple - it’s honestly like being the photographer in a fairytale. That’s exactly what Jordan and Kevin’s summer wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in Idaho Springs, Colorado was. A beautiful mix of bright florals, beautiful backdrops, personalized details, and lots of love to bring together this dreamy garden party wedding.
A Beautiful Summer Garden Party Wedding in Colorado
Jordan and Kevin’s wedding day started similar to how most of my weddings start: the details. And boy oh boy did these details pop! The semi-custom invite suite from The Lettery Co and the vibrant, colorful florals from Fairytale Floral really set the vibe for this summer garden party theme.
Both Jordan and Kevin finished getting ready in separate spaces at Blackstone Rivers Ranch (always love this!) before heading into first looks. Jordan chose to have a first look with her bridesmaids, dad, and brothers before heading outside to Blackstone’s gorgeous greenery to her first look with Kevin. Tears and hugs were shared during their private vows before doing some couple portraits. Since Jordan’s veil was STUNNING we absolutely had to get some dreamy photos of it!
Wedding party photos were next. And when I say these florals popped, I mean it! The pink flowers against the blue dresses felt like the perfect summer combo. And the guys looked so chic in their black tuxes.
The ceremony space was incredible with the continuation of florals and pine trees as the backdrop as “I do” was exchanged while friends and family watched and the sun perfectly peeked through the branches!
Wedding Reception at the Blackstone Rivers Ranch
Cocktail hour transitioned everyone into party mode with outdoor games like giant jenga (a classic) and cornhole while we snuck out for some golden hour photos before heading into the reception area to enjoy the rest of the night.
Elegant florals dangled from the ceiling of the reception tent while a sketch of Jordan and Kevin’s dog Bodhi advertised the signature drink of the night at the bar. Mountain Crust Catering was on display cooking up pizzas for everyone to enjoy at the beautifully decorated tables.
Jordan and Kevin shared their first dance and cut their own pizza together before cutting their cake and enjoying speeches and parent dances among the jaw dropping aspen trees surrounding the tent. THEN it was time. The dance floor was officially open! And my goodness did people dance. The dance floor was colorful and lit up to match the vibes of the day and their guests! Jordan and Kevin eventually snuck away to actually cook their own pizza together which added SUCH an adorable touch to their evening!
Jordan eventually had enough of her heels and had Kevin change her shoes into something a bit more comfortable right in time to end the night with a glow stick exit tunnel. This was a great day full of so many memories and so much love!
