Winter Park Wedding | Becky and Tyler

Becky and Tyler’s Winter Park resort wedding was the PERFECT fall wedding in Colorado.  The time of year was perfect AND they chose this location because they did their first ski trip together in Winter Park!  On top of all that, they wanted to do their first look AND vows at the top of the gondola at Winter Park which is so special and another nod back to their first ski trip their together.  Their wedding at Headwaters Center was SO much fun, let’s take a look at some of the other fun details from their day.

Winter Park Wedding at Headwaters

As someone who is VERY passionate about sustainability, I love Headwaters.  They care a lot about their clients and the experience they have while also keeping sustainability at the forefront of their business model.  Headwaters location in Winter Park has so many beautiful views and spaces for couples to explore on their wedding day.  Becky and Tyler’s private vow reading at the top of the gondola as well as their wedding portrait locations truly were able to document all of the beauty that Winter Park offers as a wedding venue.

Private Vows at Headwaters Center

One thing that many couples don’t realize until it’s too late, is that there are not many opportunities for alone time on your wedding day unless you carve out space in your timeline for it.  Becky and Tyler were very thoughtful about the way they spent their time on their wedding day. Their timeline ensuring they had quality time with one another scattered throughout the day.  Between the gondola rides up and down the mountain, little pauses within their portrait sessions and taking a pause to sign their marriage license after their ceremony with their close friends gave them opportunities to slow down and be with one another.

Wedding Reception at Their Colorado Venue

Becky and Tyler began their wedding reception at their cocktail hour with their guests.  Becky and Tyler wanted to make sure they had as much time as possible to spend with their loved ones so they chose to have most of their photos taken before cocktail hour, that way they could mingle and have conversations with their loved ones throughout the evening.  Because they had a great wedding coordination team they were able to be present and really enjoy their evening together.  After cocktail hour they sat down at their head table looking over the mountains that make up winter park to share a meal with their loved ones before dancing the night away!

Becky and Tylers’ beautiful winter park wedding was SO much fun and such a beautiful day.  Winter Park in the fall is SO gorgeous and I loved exploring the park with them for their portraits throughout their wedding day.  If you’re looking for a photographer for your Colorado wedding this year, be sure to reach out via my contact page!
