Cheesman Park Proposal | Cameron and Brandon
It's no secret that Denver is one of my favorite places to photograph proposals, so when Brandon reached out for help planning his proposal at Cheesman Park, I was SO excited. Cheesman is in one of my favorite areas to photograph proposal in Denver, only a short walk from the Denver Botanic Gardens, where I photographed Morgan and Hunter's Proposal, and just an overall beautiful outdoor location. There is just so much to love about Brandon and Camerons proposal.
How to Plan a Proposal in Denver
When it comes to planning a proposal in Denver it's important to start a month or two early! As soon as you have a rough idea of what you want your proposal to look like reach out to a photographer to document the moment.
When planning your proposal, you can really break it down into a few simple steps:

Book your photographer - If you want a photographer to document this moment for you, be sure to reach out early! The great thing about hiring a photographer is they often have insight on how to plan the perfect proposal.
Make it personal - Think through how to make your favorite person feel like they are the most important person in your world. Plan a dinner that resembles your first date after, propose somewhere meaningful like Brandon did, or include something you love doing together in your day!
Outside of these four things, the only other thing you'll want to think through is logistics! Remember, you know your person and what they love more than anyone else! You've got this.
Brandon and Cameron's Proposal at Cheesman Park
Brandon and Cameron spend a lot of their time in Cheesman Park, so it has become a special spot for the two of them. Not only has it become a place that they spend quality time together in regularly, but it has also become a part of their love story, so it only makes sense that Brandon proposed there.
Brandon popped the question under the pavilion on a perfect spring day. Afterward, the two took a moment together before joining up with me to take some engagement photos throughout the park.
Cheesman is a GREAT spot to propose or take your engagement photos in Denver thanks to the iconic pavilion! It offers some coverage in case of rain, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens, and features standout architecture that makes it unique within the city. I may be biased, but I think it's one of the best spots to plan a surprise proposal.
