Today’s blog is a bit of a blast from the past, as I get to relive one of my favorite elopements from 2023! Stacy and Michael’s NYE elopement at The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens was the perfect way to cap off an amazing year. The day was one of beautiful emotion, and an amazing mixture of casual vibes paired with amazing vintage details. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect day for these two incredible people, and with it being at one of THE best wedding venues in Denver there’s literally SO much to love about their day!!

Getting Ready for Their Elopement at The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens

Stacy put a lot of work into planning the perfect elopement for her and Michael, but one of the easiest decisions she had to make was choosing The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens as their venue! Stacy adores Victorian era architecture, so the Inn immediately spoke to her. The idea of it being haunted was also pretty appealing, which you can read more about on my venue feature of the space!!

Stacy spent the morning of her and Michael’s elopement in the comfort of the Inn, getting ready with the help of her daughter which was SO sweet! Michael arrived soon after with a few of the two’s closest friends and family. It was a beautiful morning filled with so much emotion and excitement. Plenty of happy tears were shed throughout the day from practically everyone in attendance! Once everyone was ready it was time for their ceremony to begin!

A Perfect Celebration of Their Love

Amidst the stunning and historic Inn, Stacy and Michael had a beautifully intimate ceremony to celebrate their marriage. With one of their close friends as their officiant, Stacy and Michael shared their vows with one another and were soon announced as newlyweds! From there they signed their marriage license together before taking some portraits around The Lumber Baron Inn’s interior to celebrate their elopement. The breathtaking architecture, warm wood tones, and antique furniture all set a perfect scene for these two and their love of this era. Following their portraits was their beautifully coordinated first dance and an intimate dinner with their guests, a fitting end to their NYE elopement!
