5 Reasons to Get Married in Denver
As a born and raised Denver girl, I feel pretty strongly about the fact that Denver is an AMAZING place to get married. It's one of the easiest places to travel to in Colorado, has beautiful mountain views and SO much to do. Denver truly has it all. And if my opinion alone doesn't convince you to choose Denver for your wedding, here are five reasons to get married in Denver Colorado.
1. Denver's Incredible Variety of Wedding Venues
Despite not being in the mountains, Denver is home to some of my favorite wedding venues in the entire state of Colorado.
Not only does Denver have some amazing venues, but it also has one of the widest variety of wedding venues within the state. There are so many different venues with completely different feels, from industrial-style spaces and museums to historic mansions, gardens and modern event spaces.
And if you want those iconic Colorado mountain views without having to travel deep into the mountains, there are venues that can give you that, too!
Some of my favorites include Highland's Ranch, Upper Larimer, and the Denver Botanic Gardens. Check out 10 of my favorite Denver wedding venues here!
Easy Travel with Denver International Airport
One of the biggest advantages of getting married in Denver is how easy it is for your out of town guests to get there.
Denver International Airport is a major hub for many major airlines, making it relatively simple for friends and loved ones traveling from across the country to get to your wedding. Once they arrive, Denver also has public transportation, rental cars, rideshare options and plenty of hotels throughout the city.
If you're planning a wedding with a lot of out of town guests, having an easy to access wedding venue can completely transform the wedding guest experience.
There is So Much to Do in Denver
Your wedding weekend doesn't have to start and end with your wedding day. Denver is filled with art, culture, food, breweries, museums and outdoor activities. These amenities make it an incredibly fun place to host a full wedding weekend.
A few of my favorite things to do in Denver include:
The Local Breweries: Denver is home to SO many great breweries that are perfect for anyone that loves a good craft beer. Some of my favorites include: FlyteCo, Denver Beer Co and Littleton Brewing Company.
The Museums: Another great part of the culture of Denver are all of the amazing museums throughout Colorado. There are SO many great museums that call Denver home. A personal favorite is the Denver Art Museum, but the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Museum of Illusions and Meow Wolf are also a ton of fun.
The Nature: Want to experience wildlife without leaving Denver? The Rocky Mountain Arsenal is an awesome wildlife refuge just outside of downtown, and there are over 20 miles of hiking trails. You can also head to Chatfield State Park and Bear Creek Lake Park for hiking, paddle boarding and other outdoor activities.
Whether your guests want to spend the weekend exploring the city, visiting museums, or drinking local beer, there is something for everyone!
Incredibly Talented Vendors
It's no secret that Denver is a hub for creativity. There are so many talented vendors based in the Denver area who can help bring your wedding vision to life.
Some of my favorite wedding vendors have been a part of celebrations like this romantic summer wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, this funky formal wedding at Upper Larimer, and SO many more incredible Denver weddings
One of my favorite things about the Denver wedding industry is the variety of creative talent there is. Whether you're looking for a photographer, florist, planner, caterer, hair and makeup artist or someone to create something completely unique for your wedding day, you have so many talented vendors to choose from.

Mountain View Wedding Venues Without the Travel
Believe it or not, you can still have those mountain views without traveling too far outside of Denver!
For couples who want the scenery of Colorado without asking their guests to navigate mountain roads, these venues can give you the best of both worlds: mountain views and big city convenience.
Some of my favorite venues with epic mountain views near Denver include:
You get that beautiful Colorado scenery without having to commit to a remote mountain wedding. And honestly, that combination is one of the biggest reasons I love Denver for weddings. You can have the mountains, the city, the culture, the vendors and the venues and the convenience all in one place.
