Fall Engagement Session in Evergreen Colorado

When planning Caroline and Rob's fall engagement session in Evergreen Colorado, they kept things simple. All they really wanted were some fall colors off the beaten path, so that's exactly what we did. There was soooo much shared laughter and fun with these two wonderful humans and we loved exploring this fall trail together. Take a look at this perfect fall engagement session.

Colorado Fall Engagement Session

Caroline and Rob's engagement session fell on the perfect weekend for fall colors in Evergreen Colorado. They didn't have much in mind outside of those vibrant autumn colors, so we opted for a lesser known hike to a quiet grove rather than some of the more popular spots. We had the space to ourselves and had so much fun exploring this new trail together.

It even began to rain midway through the session, which gave us the chance to incorporate clear umbrellas and lean into the moment a bit more.

When it comes to Colorado weather, it can be a bit unpredictable. It's so important to be prepared for all types of weather leading up to your engagement session. And if the weather changes halfway through your session, as long as it's safe, we simply roll with it.

Why Engagement Photos Are So Important

When it comes to planning a wedding day, engagement photos are such an important and underrated step to the planning process. For many couples, your wedding day will be the first time you're in front of a camera for an extended period of time, which can be a daunting experience. This is where the engagement session comes in.

There are so many reasons why an engagement sessions is such a valuable part of wedding planning. Here are a few:

  • It gives you an opportunity to meet your wedding photographer in person before your big day

  • An engagement session allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera and practice being photographed

  • Engagement photos are such a fun way to celebrate this season of life you're in! You're only engaged once, and it is such a fun era to be in

  • Your engagement photos can be used throughout your wedding experience, from save-the-dates to guest books and more
