One of my favorite parts about wedding venues in Colorado is their options for indoor and outdoor spaces. Michaela and Matt’s wedding at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch in Colorado took advantage of all of the spaces they had to offer for their beautiful day. Michaela put so much thought into every detail of their wedding day and you could tell. Their day flowed effortlessly and their guests, who traveled in from all over the country for them loved every second of it.

An Intimate Wedding at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch

Though their wedding was closer to being considered a large wedding, the feel at Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch made their wedding day feel intimate and small. With the lodging that the resort offers, the venue is the perfect space for couples who are hosting a lot of guests from out of town. I love resort wedding venues for guest lists like this because it offers you more than one opportunity to see your guests throughout your wedding weekend! Your wedding almost takes over the resort giving it sort of a college town feel where you’re running into your friends and family the whole weekend.

Thoughtful Details for their Wildflower Themed Wedding

Michaela put so much thought into every detail of their day. She designed the invitations herself which turned out STUNNING. Her color palette was reflected all throughout the course of their wedding day. And the bright colors mixed with the pastels looked amazing with the greens in the mountainside the day of their wedding.

It was clear from all the happy tears shed throughout the day just how perfect these two are for each other and how loved they are! There was not a single dry eye during their vows. Their friends and family were SO happy to be there with them to celebrate their love and marriage. A little fun fact, Michaela and I went to kindergarten together as well as a few years of elementary school! It was so special to have grown up with her and then now to be trusted to document one of the most important days of her life. This is one of the reasons I love my job so much.

Their Cocktail Hour and Reception

One of the most beautiful parts of Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is of course the nature that surrounds it. With their outdoor ceremony space, beautiful cocktail hour space and extra large windows throughout the reception hall you can tell that the venue leans into this feature. Michaela and Matt had all the windows open throughout their reception, getting an amazing summer breeze flowing through their venue throughout the night and we were able to watch the sunset over the tree line during dinner and speeches. Michaela and Matt ended their evening with some beautiful toasts from their loved ones and then opened their dance floor with a group photo with every single one of their guests!
